Gov Bev Perdue announced yesterday that 300+ miles of our NC Coastline is open for business! My wife and I have plans to go to Nags Head, and we're keeping them. One of the best things you can do for our coastal neighbors is to keep your plans--our economy depends upon it greatly. Of course you'll want to call ahead and make sure that your accommodations are open and ready to receive you--that's common sense. You can get beach updates here: www.visitnc.com There are some parks that are closed, so you'll want to click on the link to the NC Park Service (listed on the above website) to see what's open. Either way, it looks to be beautiful weekend along the NC Coastline. One that's sure to provide great memories for you and your family.
